(More customer reviews)I LOVE THIS PAN! and can't sing the praises of this wee Roaster any more than a 5-Star Review, *vbs*.
It's your typical 'dark navy-blue/speckled with white' Graniteware, and is basically a 9 x 13-sized Pan that you'd bake a cake in. However, the Lid also serves as an open Roaster because the Handles have been positioned, (and smartly, I might add), on the side of it, (instead of the top as per the usual, larger Graniteware Roasters), so the Lid lays flat.
The Rack makes the whole contraption spectacular as this Pan is small enough to fit in a Barbeque... so, when I'm tired of Grilling, (but don't want to heat up the house by turning the oven on), I can actually 'Bake' on my Grill by using this Pan. The Rack keeps the food above the bottom of the Pan where it would burn otherwise.
I've roasted a whole Chicken, a Turkey Breast, and a Loin of Pork in my Barbeque by using this Pan and Rack, and each has turned out delish! I use the Lid at the same time to saute mushrooms and other veggies as well as baking Au Gratin potatoes... mmm-mmm-good! *lol*
As per the other Review, the edges aren't completely rolled, so they do have a bit of sharpness to them. You have to be careful when washing.
But, this does not diminish in the least the joy I have gotten from this 9 x 13-sized Roasting Pan w/Rack.
I'm so glad they made one in this size and with these features. It has saved me from the inevitable onslaught of 'Drop-Dead from the Summer-Heat' oven-cooking!
