AFter trying it out on our coal stove, we were delighted with the grilled cheese sandwiches (our first try on the griddle), then we tried hamburgers and potatoes. Again great. Later when the weather warmed, we used it on our electric stove and were just as happy with the results. We liked it so much we purchased one from Amazon for our daughter-in-law.
