It was for a gift, so I was glad to see that it came very secure, and with all of its parts. (Nothing was broken, everything was there.) I have been looking for this particular item for a very long time...my best friend saw it at a local restraunt where they put sterno gel in it and cooked marshmallows over it, making s'mores. Super cute...needless to say, she was thrilled with her birthday present ;-). I wish it would have come sooner (I had to give it to her late). Other than that, very pleased with my purchase!!! (More customer reviews)When you bake bread using only a sourdough starter you get a dough that is more relaxed than dough made with commercial yeast, it wants to rise out as well as up.This pan is the best I have found for baking with sourdough because it not only supports the sides of the dough (so it rises up and not over the sides of the pan) but gives it a fabulous crust.
To prevent sticking you will have to *really* grease both the top and bottom the first several times you use it, also genrously sprinkle the the bottom with cornmeal.After the pan is seasoned a light greasing will do, and once it is *well* seasoned you often won't have to grease it at all.I always lightly sprinkle the bottom with cornmeal though.
One important thing to remember is that you can't wash this with soap, the stoneware will absob it and make your bread taste funny.Most of the time all you need to do is dust the cornmeal out, but every now and then (and if something sticks) you can soak it in plain hot water.

(More customer reviews)I received this yesterday and tried it out on my Weber Kettle grill today.I preheated it as directed and placed some rib eye steaks on the Tuscan grill.Giving each a quarter turn after two minutes produced a very distinctive diamond-shaped pattern that makes your food look very professionally-grilled.At 14" square, you have a fair-sized grilling surface as well.It is heavy to be sure, but cast iron is one of the best grilling surfaces imaginable and the V-shaped grates will assure you that your food will not only taste great, but look really appetizing too!

NOTE:Make sure that you season this accessory before using it or you will probably get a very unpleasant metallic taste.I coated the entire surface, including the removable legs, with a light film of melted shortening.I placed two baking pans lined with foil into a 350 degree oven and stood the grill upright on the sheets.I baked it for an hour, shut off the oven and went to bed.In the morning, it was cool and completely seasoned.After using it, I let it cool down and soaked it in hot water in the sink.Then I scraped it down with a plastic brush and repeated the seasoning process.This really isn't necessary but I do it just to add a stronger finish.

The Aroma brand of products never disappoints for quality and usability and this oven is no exception.

Basically it sits on your counter. You load the pot with food such as chicken wings or a pork roast or a whole chicken or just about anything.

The lid contains a heater and a fan and it blows superhot air across the food cooking it. It can give the effect of either deep frying without the oil and fat or a rotisserie except you can do it on the countertop with no special equipment.

For the worlds best wing:

Turbo Wings

3-4 pounds of defrosted chicken wings - whole or separated into wings and drumettes

Season with:

Kosher salt
Spicy Hungarian Paprika
Cayenne - a light sprinkle
a dash of pepper
a dusting of garlic powder to taste

Pack loosely into the turbo over. Roast at high heat ~375-400'F for about 15-20 minutes. Watch them cook.

When done they have this awesome crispy outside with tender juicy meat inside.

I've tried these wings a variety of ways including a regular convection over and somehow they are never as good as with the turbo oven. I think the air circulation is better in the moreconfined space of the turbo.

This will give you years of delicious fast preparing food for the busy person, and the unit cleans in a snap.

Well worth the price. I just bought another one here from Amazon to replace one I have thats 14 years old. I broke the pot by accident. The heater and turbo unit are still fine and work great.
