At exactly the the three-month mark since purchase, I have to report this is NOT a well-made unit. I'd had trouble with it over the last week, and determined yesterday that the cause was total failure of the lower heating elements. Doesn't matter if I get it repaired or replaced, or I don't. Nothing should fail so totally, so fast. I've retracted my earlier review and dropped this to One Star. My apologies to anyone who relied on this review and purchased this product. See below for all the Good Things I had to say about it and now regret publishing.

I've had this oven for six weeks now. When I purchased it, no one had reviewed it yet, so it was a minor gamble (a friend had an earlier Sanyo 4-slice convection toaster oven, and had nothing but good things to say about it.) In a solo household, there's little need for six or even four slices of toast, but I was looking more for oven replacement than toasting. Still, I like toast, and when you buy a "toaster oven", you know it's going to do some things well, and others not so well.
